Kate is definitely the "Paint Whisperer." She has an uncanny skill with color and how it's going to work in your home with whatever else you have going on. Her people are very skilled at what they do as well. We are very pleased with their work and will definitely call them in the future.

Kate listens, interprets, negotiates, translates, and even vetos color palettes on behalf of her Clients. She is both technically skilled and creatively talented. I highly recommend KB Painting for color design services.

We can't say enough...words cannot express our deep satisfaction and joy with the painting excellence and love of doing something right that has been applied to oour home. First, the exterior, a paint color combination Kate consulted and recommended to us that we hadn't imagined. We weren't the only ones. A neighbor two blocks away told them, "I want what they got!" The same thing happened when we later needed to paint the interior. Kate listened to us and recommended a paint color scheme that wasn't on our radar that we are thrilled with! You and Gary are perfectionists, wanting not only to do a fine job of painting, but taking care to give the prep work a "10," fixing structural issues a "10," being extra careful with cabinets, doors, floors and furniture. It's just everything we had hoped for, and more.

I met with Kate for 5 minutes over my lunch break about painting multiple rooms in my home. I told her I wasn't really sure what colors would look best and left it up to her design skills. I left a key in the mailbox for her because I was going out of town. Came home 5 days later to a completed project done to perfection... and then some. She went above and beyond, was friendly, trust worthy, professional, and prompt. I couldn't have had a better experience!

KB Painting is fantastic! We've used them for interior painting and exterior painting/repair work for wood rot on door trim and window trim/hanging new shutters. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again!

We are repeat customers with KB Painting, and for good reason. They may not be the least expensive painting service in Lawrence, but the work that they do is first rate. Most recently, KB Painting replaced 5 windows and repainted the outside of our house. The windows came with pre-cut frames that did not match the other windows of the house, so KB Painting custom built new frames and did not charge us extra for those. They also did a complete inspection of the outside of the house, repaired damaged siding, and caulked all seams. They then applied a primer and two final coats to the whole house. We consider the house to be reborn -- it looks like new and is undoubtedly better sealed from the elements. I have little doubt that when we next have a painting need, we will once again turn to KB Painting!
